Kaisercraft Saturday sketch challenge

Each Saturday Kaisercraft put up a sketch on their blog foe everyone to play with. The first sketch for May was this

Here is my take on it...

This page was created with Kaisercrafts Magnolia Grove paper collection.
The centre panel was stenciled with Kaisercrafts Wheat stencil using aged mahogany distress ink, and punched with an EK Success punch, with a different EK Success and a Martha Stewart punch being used for the other strips.
The flowers, leaves and flourishes, were all cut from the same papers using Cheery Lynn dies.

The poem is 'God's Masterpiece is Mother' by Herbert Farnham
God took the fragrance of a flower
The majesty of a tree
The gentleness of morning dew
The calm of a quiet sea
The beauty of the twilight hour
The soul of a starry night
The laughter of a rippling brook
The grace of a bird in flight
Then God fashioned from these things
A creation like no other
And when his masterpiece was through
He called it Simply - Mother
